Milk is not easy to digest

From the age of 7, lactase, the enzyme that makes it possible to digest milk, disappears from our body, and in adulthood a very large majority of the population can no longer stand milk. 6 to 10% of adults in France would be intolerant to cow’s milk.

Chronic fatigue

A study carried out in 1991 in Rochester (NY) concluded that drinking cow’s milk would increase the risk of chronic fatigue by 44.3%. Although the study is not very recent, these figures are surprising.

Cancer

Hormones present in cow’s milk have a relationship with the development of different cancers (ovaries, pancreas, prostate, stomach, breast, lungs and testicles)

Other diseases could be correlated with the consumption of cow’s milk (Asthma, Crohn’s disease, sclerosis, Ulcers …).

Alternative to cow’s milk

Vegetable milks are for us the best solutions to reduce or even stop our consumption of cow’s milk.

1. Almond milk

Very rich in vitamins E, magnesium and iron, it is one of the best vegetable substitutes for cow’s milk.

2. Oat milk

Very rich in vitamins B and E, its low glycemic index is comparable to that of cow’s milk.

3. Coconut milk

Rich in vitamins and minerals: it strengthens the immune system, bones and protects nails, skin and hair.

5. Soy milk

Very good but still be careful of the gluten allergy problems that may arise.
